Therapy Equipment and Adaptations
Assessment, advice and information on choosing the most suitable equipment and adaptations for independent living
Thorough assessment of the individual in their environment and a problem solving approach are used to identify ways to optimise a person’s functional abilities at home, at work and during leisure time. The therapist can recommend suitable equipment or adaptations and provide information on sourcing these as required.
ITS can provide a holistic assessment looking at all aspects of a person’s life or target a particular area of difficulty, for example, bathing or seating.
A report detailing assessment findings and recommendations can be included.
Fitting and Installation
Fitting of grab rails, additional stair rails, newel post rails, key safes, bed and chair raises and other minor adaptations are available. These are undertaken by an experienced contractor.
